New evidence of participation of Russian T-90 tanks of the 136th Motorized Brigade in the Donbas fighting came to sight. PHOTOS

ТParticipation of Russian troops in battles in the Donbas area is not news; this has been reported by Ukrainian media many times. But skeptics, both local and foreign, ask for specific facts, visual confirmation of the matter in question. The subject of participation of Russian tanks, including the latest "T-90", in the battles in Ukraine was repeatedly raised during the period of July-September, 2014, but there has been no confirmation of this fact, such as a seized tank, a photopfoor, or other.

This is reported by blogger Iraklii Komakhidze in Infornapalm, Censor.NET informs.

"Now we can say with confidence that Russian tanks participated in battles around the Luhansk Airport, including T-90 of tank battalion of the 136th Motorized Infantry Brigade, Russian military unit 63354 (place of permanent deployment is Dagestan, Buynaksk). This is confirmed by pictures from a social media account of a Russian tanker, by which it became possible to determine the location - a road junction near the village of Fabrychne near the Luhansk airport, with a road sign reading 'Krasnyi Luch to the left,' 'Starobielsk straight,' and 'Luhansk to the right.' Pictures were uploaded on Oct. 2-12, 2014," the blogger stated.

"I wrote about the redeployment of tanks from Buynaksk to Rostov and further to Ukrainian Donbas earlier, and posted images of present Dagestan tanks and shot down infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs, presumably Russian), but I wasn't sure due to lack of geotagged photographs, comments, or other identification marks. But presented material gives conclusive proof of the presence of Russian T-90 in Ukraine," the blogger wrote.

Photos are taken from profile of Russian tank driver of the 136th Motorized Brigade Vitalek (Vitalik) Marakasov, profile https://vk.com/makarasik, tank #438 shown on the helmet (ID numbers on the tanks themselves are erased). Tanks with numbers "4 ..." (431, 434, 454, 458) have been repeatedly seen on photos from the loading station of Kizlyar in Dagestan and on photos of already transferred tanks into the Rostov region (and further to the Donbas).

Regarding Marakasov, he is a contract serviceman of tank battalion of 136th Motorized Brigade, who along with other servicemen had been trained in a surviving school near city of Volgograd, Russia, in July. After that, apparently, he was sent to the Donbas. As of Oct. 12, he and his tank units are still in the conflict zone (see the comments).

The blogger also appeals to American journalist Catherine Ann Fitzpatrick of "The Interpreter." "Dear Catherine Ann, you insisted on receiving a source and more specific data to be certain about Kremlin's involvement in fighting in the Donbas. I present you this material, which is supported by indisputable facts."
