"The bodies were collected on the fields as well as retrieved from hit and burnt military equipment. Our task was to find the bodies and pass them to the Defense Ministry for further identification and transfer to relatives. Unfortunately, there is no concept for such issues in our country - no one ever had a purpose to search soldiers deceased in action. No one also thought of how to look for the missing military," the organizations' governing board head Yaroslav Zhylkin said.
The searchers say that this work causes mental anguish, besides they are constantly having problems with the equipment.
