As reported by a correspondent for Censor.NET, Chief of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), Artem Sytnyk, arrived at the National Academy of Prosecutors of Ukraine, where the disciplinary case initiated by Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko is being heard.
Anti-Corruption Action Center activists and journalists gathered outside the session hall. They were later granted access to the hearing.
Members of the State Protection Service and patrol police are guarding the entrance to the building and the session hall. Besides, riot police regiment was pulled to the Academy building.
As reported, the prosecutor general and NABU director filed disciplinary complaints to the Higher qualifications and disciplinary commission of prosecutors against Kholodnytskyi on March 30, 2018. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the disciplinary complaints were filed based on the evidence collected under the criminal case jointly investigated with the NABU.
