"Mi-8 helicopter owned by private airline Ukrainian Helicopters crashed in Kremenchuk’s Avtozavodskyi district at about 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 25 during a training flight. A fire subsequently broke out at the crash site," the report reads.
According to the agency, the fire was extinguished at 11:05 p.m.
"Four crew members were killed in the air crash," the State Emergency Service said.
"It was foggy and the helicopter probably hit a tower or a power transmission line. We heard several explosions," the local news outlet Kremenchutskyi Telehraf quoted the eyewitness as saying.
