French Ambassador's Banquet was Overshadowed by Protesters against Cooperation with Russia as an Aggressor. PHOTOS

Paris was reminded of its shameful behavior also today in Kyiv. Ukrainians and French living in Ukraine came to picket the French Embassy.

Censor.NET reports this citing Podrobytsi-TV. Several hundred protesters gathered near the building of the French Embassy, where the banquet was planned to take place. The participants of Avtomaidan also gathered here. Their main request is to terminate the contract on the sale of two Mistral warships. This vessel may admit up to 20 military helicopters, 10 tanks and 700 soldiers. However, France does not hurry to break the agreements. The people have brought the red carpet and put a funeral wreath on it committing a lying protest after that to remind of the agreements.

The participant of the protest says: "I want to show to France with the help of the wreath that there already are victims of Russian aggression in Georgia, Chechnya and Ukraine." Clement Shenu, the protester: "We believe that after the events in Ukraine it is absolutely wrong to sell such ships to Russia. And we protest against this. The private party, apparently, should be amazing. There are 800 invitees: diplomats, representatives of Ukrainian authorities and no press allowed." It is also worth to be noted that the protesters stretched a canvas that combines three flags at once - the flags of Ukraine, Crimean Tatar and France. The action takes place peacefully. Facebook community Letmypplgo, which is engaged in the liberation of Ukrainian prisoners of the Russian Federation, shares photos of the protest action. Censor.NET previously reported that France will refuse to supply Mistrals to Russia "only under one condition."
