People at the CEC Held Out the Night: We Will Stay Here Till the End. PHOTOS

Despite the rain people stood all night to protest election fraud on the square in front of the Central Election Commission.

Gazeta.ua reports that at 11:30 p.m. there was a clash between Berkut special forces and the participants of the meeting when people tried to put up a tent. Among the protesters were members of opposition Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, Andriy Kozhemyakin, Roman Zabzalyuk, Oleksandr Chornovolenko.

At 1:00 am leaders of the opposition Vitali Klitschko, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, and Oleh Tyagnybok came to the camp.

Half an hour later, the opposition leaders left. The last to leave was Yatsenyuk.

"Tomorrow at 8:00 I need to be in parliament. I will come here at 11:00 a.m." he said.

Later, a regular citizen living opposite the CEC building brought tea to the people. Around 4:00 a.m. most of the protesters were hiding in the underground passage of the Pechersk metro station. People were sitting on the steps, from time to time changing with those who were getting wet at the walls of the CEC.

"By tomorrow we expect some assistance from various cities. I do know that people are coming from Ivano-Frankivsk oblast - three buses. Pervomaisk should come, Donetsk," said one of the protesters.

"We will definitely stay till the end. This is a criminal regime. I was an observer in Ivano-Frankivsk. When we passed the precinct protocols, the ruling party had 50 out of 3,000 votes and by the time they got to the district commission it became 150. That is not fair," she added.

Unauthorized rally at the CEC began on Monday in protest to rigged elections in at least 13 districts. On Monday evening the Central Election Commission said that he could not establish the results of the elections in five districts out of 13.
