Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the ATO headquarters press center.
"The most intense yesterday's attacks took place on Svitlodarsk salient in Luhansk direction: The enemy was firing upon our defenses on the outskirts of Luhanske village with 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns and IFV weapons for about three hours - more than 90 mortar shells were fired at the ATO forces. The Ukrainian soldiers retaliated against almost each attack with suppressive fire. Makarove village defenders were also fired upon with 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns late yesterday. The adversary invited retaliation of Krymske village defenders with small arms.
"In Prymorske direction, the enemy shelled outskirts of Vodiane with 152-mm guns in serious violation of the Minsk accords. Defenders of Pavlopil and Shyrokyne came under strikes with 120-mm mortars. The militants fired upon our positions in the vicinity of Avdiivka with grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The ATO forces' positions near Novotroitske came under grenade launcher strike. The invaders employed large-caliber machine guns against Starohnativka defenders after dusk," the situation report reads.
The press center said that the terrorists committed a total of 22 attacks over the past 24-hour period. The Ukrainian servicemen suppressed the assaults with response fire 15 times. The Ukrainian Army suffered no battle casualties yesterday.
As reported, the Russian mercenaries fired upon the ATO forces' positions 16 times on Nov. 15.
