As reported by Censor.NET citing Hromadske, Solomatina said at a briefing held in the Ukrainian crisis media center attended by MPs Mustafa Nayyem, Viktor Chumak, and Svitlana Zalishchuk.
Solomatina said NACP chairwoman directly gave instructions to screen certain lawmakers and forged the results of their income statements' check. She also said that Korchak stonewalled transition from manual to automated screening.
NACP financial control department chief said that e-declarations were used to cover for officials loyal to the government and for the agency chairwoman's personal enrichment.
"I personally received instructions from the NACP chairwoman to check certain lawmakers so that they seem 'honest and truthful' while no violations should have been found in their income statements," she said.
"The full-scale screening of eight MPs, which was supposed to end last May, has not even begun yet. Only 91 income statements have been scrutinized so far," Solomatina said.
She also said that her department employees were not allowed to check the Supreme Court judges' tax returns.
Finally, she called on to suspend the NACP head pending the investigation and carry out audit of the agency's operations.
Solomatina said she handed all the evidence to the Prosecutor General's Office in late August but the papers were returned without consideration. Consequently, Solomatina submitted her statement along with the statements of several other NACP members to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) in October.
However, NACPs former member Ruslan Radetskyi, who was also present at the briefing, said that Solomatina's statements were untrue.
MP Viktor Chumak, a co-author of the law on the prevention of corruption, noted the Cabinet of Ministers should create an investigative committee and suspend Korchak pending the investigation following today's allegations.
"If these facts are confirmed, this would jeopardize our European integration," Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction MP Svitlana Zalishchuk said.
She stressed that the international partners should suspend the agency funding pending the investigation.
Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction MP Mustafa Nayyem asked Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko to enquire why Solomatina's statements were returned to the NACP. Nayyem also urged NABU to confirm or dismiss allegations on probe into Korchak.
