 No Ukrainian soldier killed or injured in 33 militants' attacks over past day, - ATO HQ

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area substantially deteriorated compared to the previous days: the number of attacks on the Ukrainian troops almost doubled yesterday, Nov. 12.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the statement by the ATO headquarters press center, the combined Russian and terrorist forces committed 33 attacks basically after dark having used mortars of various calibers over a dozen times.

"The enemy intensified assaults on Svitlodarsk salient after dusk. The militants fired upon the defenders of Luhanske with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, small arms and IFV weapons.

"Several attacks on the Ukrainian troops with infantry weapons were recorded on the outskirts of Avdiivka, Marinka, and Butivka mine near Donetsk.

"In Luhansk direction, the militants employed 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms against defenders of Katerynivka, and fired upon the defenders of Valuiske with large-caliber machine guns.

"No Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in action despite the increased number of attacks," the press center said.
