As reported by the parliamentary correspondent for Censor.NET, 234 MPs have cast votes for the corresponding bill.
The bill amends Ukrainian legislation regulating the appointment and dismissal of the heads of local administrations, their deputies, and heads of central executive bodies (their deputies) which are not subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers.
The document, in particular, provides for introducing amendments in the law on public service, according to which the posts of heads of local state administrations, their deputies will not be related to civil service. Thus, the heads of local state administrations and their deputies will be appointed directly by the president without a competitive selection, which was previously introduced for the civil servants.
The bill was adopted taking into account proposals of the Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government.
