Combined Russian and terrorist troops did not stop shelling strong points of the Ukrainian Army virtually all along the demarcation line today, Nov. 8.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters press center.

"The invaders unleashed at least 16 shells with 82-mm mortars upon the defenders of Avdiivka and Pisky villages near Donetsk. The enemy also attacked positions on the outskirts of Zaitseve with IFV weapons. A Ukrainian soldier received fatal injury in a clash with the enemy around midday.

"In Luhansk direction, the ATO forces' stronghold in the vicinity of Krymske came under strike with 120-mm mortars. The fortified positions near Triokhizbenka were also attacked by the invaders twice. A Ukrainian military was injured in a grenade-launcher shelling at about 10 a.m.

"In Prymorske direction, the militants fired upon the ATO forces near Novotroitske with an anti-tank grenade launcher, and employed IFV-mounted gun against defenders of Vodiane.

"The illegal armed groups have violated the cease-fire deal 10 times since the beginning of the day. The ATO forces used infantry weapons in response six times to suppress the enemy attacks," the situation report reads.
