The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has prevented dozens of terrorist attacks since the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine while more than 15,000 criminal proceedings into crimes against the national security are now under investigation.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the SBU press center.

"Since the beginning of the Russian aggression, the SBU investigators have initiated criminal proceedings into over 15,000 offenses that entail a risk to domestic security and the national defense effort, territorial integrity and inviolability encroachments, and terrorism.... Hundreds of criminals received prison terms including for high treason, espionage, committing terrorist attacks and acts of subversion. SBU passed thousands indictments," the agency said.

However, the SBU expressed regret about certain Ukrainian politicians and experts who "deliberately play into the hands of the Kremlin propaganda." The SBU accused law enforcement of inability to prevent high-profile crimes organized by Russian secret services as shown by first indications.
