The agency said the fiercest enemy attacks were recorded near Donetsk yesterday afternoon. The militants launched over 100 missiles with multiple launch rocket systems on the ATO forces' strongholds near Avdiivka and Opytne within several hours. The invaders fired upon Avdiivka's southeastern outskirts with 82-mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns last night. The pro-Russian mercenaries shelled the defenders of Pisky twice after nightfall using 122-mm guns, 120-mm and 82-mm mortars.
In Luhansk direction, the fortifications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Novotoshkivske came under strikes of 120-mm mortars while the defenders of Novooleksandrivka were fired upon with 82-mm mortars and IFV-mounted weapons. The invaders also shelled the outskirts of Luhanske with grenade launchers of various types last evening.
The militants fired upon suburbs of Vodiane village in Prymorske direction with anti-tank grenade launchers.
"A total of 23 cease-fire violations were committed by the illegal armed groups over the past day. The enemy used multiple rocket launchers twice, mortars of various calibers eight times, and 122 mm artillery once. The ATO forces showed asymmetrical response to the enemy 14 times using infantry weapons. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action," the situation report reads.
As reported, the Russian mercenaries committed 25 attacks on positions of the Ukrainian Army Nov. 4.
