 No one killed, one Ukrainian soldier injured in 16 militants’ attacks over past day, - ATO HQ

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone somewhat deteriorated late Nov. 2. The Russian-occupation forces continued attacking Ukrainian troops’ positions in all directions using mainly infantry weapons.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the ATO headquarters press center.

"The enemy committed three attacks on defenders of Krymske village in Luhansk direction using grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns after 6 p.m.

"The same types of weapons were employed against the ATO forces' stronghold near Lebedynske in Prymorske direction.

"Yesterday evening, the enemy assaulted positions on the outskirts of Luhanske, Kamianka, and Butivka mine in Donetsk direction using grenade launchers of various types and small arms. The invaders fired upon the approaches to Avdiivka and Zaitseve with machine guns.

"The militants breached truce 16 times over the past day. Our defenders opened fire in response using weapons consistent with the peace agreements 13 times to suppress the attacks. A soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was injured in combat operations," the report reads.

Earlier, the Russian mercenaries committed 17 attacks on positions of the ATO forces Nov. 1.
