“No parallel could be made between Catalonia and Donbas. It’s not separatism that we have but real Russian aggression,” - Ukraine's FM Klimkin

The developments in Catalonia and the situation in Crimea and the Donbas are beyond any comparison over the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin told a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing LIGA.

"No parallel could be made here by definition. Imagine that there would be 2,000 Russian tanks and armored vehicles, thousands of Russian regular troops and tens of thousands of Russian mercenaries in Catalonia, all funded and controlled by Russia. In this sense, it's not separatism that we have in Crimea and the Donbas but real Russian aggression, "he said.

Klimkin also noted that Russia was trying to wage a hybrid campaign against the entire Europe.

"In this regard, we have common challenges," he added.
