 One Ukrainian fighter traumatized in combat yesterday, 20 attacks by Russian troops recorded, - ATO HQ

In the evening yesterday, Oct. 26, the situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area remained tense. The enemy's fire activities shifted from Donetsk direction to Prymorske, where it used mortars more often than before.

This was announced by the ATO HQ press center on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

The HQ said the militants fired upon strongholds in Hnutove using 82 mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers, and small arms. They also used 82 mm mortars in Vodiane and Pavlopil area.

In Donetsk direction, Avdiivka industrial area remains the hot spot. In the end of the day yesterday, Russian occupation groups committed two attacks upon ATO strongpoints using large caliber machine guns and small arms. In a grenade launcher attack near Pisky, one Ukrainian military was wounded.

In Luhansk direction, Ukrainian positions in Stanytsia Luhanska area came under grenade launcher and small arms fire.

A total of 20 cease-fire violations by Russian hybrid troops in the Donbas were recorded yesterday. The ATO forces retaliated in 16 of the attacks. One Ukrainian military was traumatized in combat, the report said.

On Oct. 25, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times.
