 One Ukrainian fighter wounded, 15 attacks by Russian troops recorded, - ATO HQ

In the end of the day Oct. 25, the situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine remained tense but controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The adversary was shelling Ukrainian positions using banned weapons.

Censor.NET reports citing the ATO HQ press office on Facebook.

The HQ said that the militants shelled ATO forces' defenses with 120 mm caliber mortars in Troitske area in the evening. At around 11 p.m. they fired 20 missiles using a multiple launch rocket system. The adversary again risked the lives of civilians and shelled a residential sector in Vodiane with 120 mm mortars.

In Donetsk direction, Ukrainian positions around Avdiivka and Butivka mine came under grenade launcher fire.

The same type of weapon was used by pro-Russian mercenaries in Krymske, Luhansk direction.

A total of 15 attacks by illegal armed gangs was recorded in the ATO area yesterday. Ukrainian army retaliated nine times, forcing the enemy to comply with the cease-fire. One ATO fighter of the Ukrainian army was wounded in combat yesterday, the report said.

On Oct. 24, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times, wounding four and killing four Ukrainian military.
