She wrote that Stetsun loved to say "One should not be afraid of death, but of empty living."

Illia Stetsun was born Aug. 2, 1998 in the Kmelnytskyi region, Liubomyrivka village. He served in the 59th Separate Mobile Infantry Brigade.
"He was so young, his heart so full of hopes and love. He will be remembered like that by his loved ones and friends and family.
"Rest in peace, boy. Eternal glory to you!"
