As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
"As for the Financial Investigation Service, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Tax and Customs Committee Nina Petrivna Yuzhanina will present for the first time its framework, the relevant draft law," the president said Tuesday at a meeting of the Regional Development Council in Kyiv.
Poroshenko expressed hope that the bill will be considered and adopted by the parliament.
As previously reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman announced Oct. 20 the development of an appropriate draft law on the establishment of FIS. The document, he said, should be presented and put to the vote in the Verkhovna Rada in November. According to the premier, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General's Office, the State Fiscal Service and the National Police will be no longer entitled to investigate economic crimes as soon as the FIS is set up.
