Rozenblat told 112 Ukraine network, Censor.NET reports.
"I went through passport control, got on the plane, and then NABU employees stormed in, a lot of them, without any grounds, without court decision, without my attorneys, and started searching my luggage. They seized passports, cell phones, tickets, presents I bought for my niece, accessories. There was some gold, not cheap, presents for kids. No diamonds or jewelry. They can conduct an expertise and show what it was in fact, not what they have written," Rozenblat said.
Earlier, it was reported that MP Borys Rozenblat was not allowed on his flight in 'Kyiv' international airport when he tried to leave for Germany on Oct. 19. NABU said it was not a detention, but investigative procedure.
On July 7, the Verkhovna Rada regulation committee considered the motion by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko on providing consent to indictment, detention, and arrest of Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) MP Boryslav Rozenblat, and found it well grounded. On July 11, Rada supported lifting immunity of Rozenblat.
On June 19, NABU detectives detained a bodyguard of Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) MP Boryslav Rozenblat. The bodyguard was carrying a bag with $200,000 in cash. The MP called it a 'provocation.' NABU head Sytnyk announced later that his agency drafted a motion on lifting immunity of people's deputies Boryslav Rozenblat and Maksym Poliakov.
On June 22, Solomianskyi court has ruled to arrest another suspect in the so-called 'amber case,' Kostiantyn Proskurko, for 60 days.
NABU estimates the total amount of bribes accepted for the sake in lobbying the laws for the amber business to be $311,000.
On Oct. 13, Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv failed to consider a motion by the Special Anti-corruption prosecutor's office on extending obligations imposed on Rozenblat.
On Oct. 17, his obligation to wear an electronic tracking device expired.
It is known that MP Rozenbal has a status of permanent resident in Germany and a house there he bought in December 2016.
