The speaker said during the coordination board meeting of faction heads and parliamentary committee leaders on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports.
During the meeting, MPs voted for including the bill on lifting parliamentary immunity to the agenda. Coalition factions of Petro Poroshenko Bloc, People's Front, and Volia Narodu did not support the proposal to change the agenda for Oct. 17 to include the "immunity bills."
"At least three factions -- Petro Poroshenko Bloc, People's Front, and Volia Narodu -- advocate keeping the agenda the same working on the healthcare reform. This is more than 226 votes," Parubii said.
"If on Wednesday the committee considers the immunity lifting issue, I will initiate and ask MPs that we are able to consider it after the healthcare reform on Thursday," Parubii added.
Earlier Oct. 17, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko registered the bill No. 7203 "On amending Article 80 of the Constitution of Ukraine (on parliament members immunity)" in the Ukrainian parliament.
