Answering a question whether any force majeure situations arose, Yarovyi said:
"The situation is under control. The entire personnel has been deployed, tasks distributed. There is cooperation and coordination," he said.
Yarovyi said about 2,000 protesters gathered at the parliament building in the morning.
"But I think people will keep coming," the deputy interior minister added.
He said about 4,000 police officers are employed for securing safety at the event.
"But reserves might be employed depending on the situation," Yarovyi said.
