This was announced by head of the parliamentary committee on customs and tax policy Nina Yuzhanina on air of 5 Channel, Censor.NET reports.
"The draft bill is ready, and it is ready comprising the ideology that was discussed with the activists and without them. I think the society is also expecting this decision made by the government.
"I am trying to gather top officials from the executive and legislative branches and discuss with them for the last time the idea of this bill that we will offer. It will be different from what we discussed with the participants of the protest," Yuzhanina said.
The official said one of the reasons why owners do not want to pay customs and taxes when buying foreign-registered cars is too high rates of taxes and VAT.
She added that there are still owners who did pay all customs, so the reason is not only the high rates.
"We need to approach it prudently, and adopt a range of excise duty so that every citizen wanted and was able to bring in a used vehicle," the committee representative said.
