According to him, in July 2017, the State Fiscal Service (SFS) announced a tender for the purchase of cargo and vehicle inspection systems. Seven companies submitted their bids. Five bids were rejected by the customer with VATEK LLC and MKT-Communication LLC proceeding to the next stage.

After a check, Terentiev says, it turned out that the bid submitted by MKT-Communication LLC did not meet the tender requirements and only one participant could be admitted to the auction. Under such circumstances the customer was obliged to cancel the tender.

"If the SFS had allowed more than two bidders to take part in the tender, the procedure would not have been canceled," the AMCU chief summed up.

Earlier, Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman threatened the head of the Antimonopoly Cimmittee with dismissal citing cancellation of the tender for the purchase of scanners for the customs: "If I find the collusion that the whole country is talking about, that the Antimonopoly Committee has become the second Tender Chamber in the country, I will initiate the dismissal of the head of the Antimonopoly Committee together with all his hangers-on."
