 About 500 villages and towns cut off electricity supply in Ukraine due to bad weather, - State Emergency Service

On Sept. 17-18, 478 villages and towns in six regions of Ukraine were cut off electricity supply due to emergency protection system going off over bad weather conditions (rain, thunderstorms, and strong wind).

Censor.NET reports citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The regions most affected by the weather conditions are the Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

71 brigade of regional energy companies have been involved in reparation works on the power lines.

About two dozen of trees fell in the Zakarpattia region, roofs of four houses were damaged.
