This was announced by Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk in an interview with Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET reports.
"Financing of the defense sector is a priority of the budget for the next year. We will keep the 5-percent of GDP allocation [on defense]," the minister said.
The budget bill sets nominal GDP at 2.867 trillion hryvnia ($109.43 billion) for 2018.
