"We have made a decision... that this would be fair and honest for the National Guard members to take their oath here, at this place, at the square near the Verkhovna Rada," Interior Minister Avakov is quoted as saying.
He reminded that four people were killed, 120 wounded during protests on Aug. 31, 2015. The minister said that casualties were recorded for both law enforcers and civilians, but the National Guard incurred the most losses.
