 No casualties in Ukrainian army yesterday, 19 provocative attacks by terrorists recorded, - HQ

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in the Donbas remains controlled by the Ukrainian army.

Censor.NET reports citing the ATO HQ on Facebook.

The HQ reported that the enemy continued its single provocation attacks upon ATO forces' positions in the areas of several villages and towns along the demarcation line.

"The most turbulent area was Donetsk direction. After 6 p.m., militants opened grenade launcher fire upon Ukrainian positions in Avdiivka industrial area and at Butivka mine. At Zaitseve and Kamianka area, the criminals employed small arms and large caliber machine guns," the report reads.

In Prymorske direction, the enemy was only active in Vodiane area, where they attacked strong points of the ATO forces three times using a large caliber machine gun.

It was quiet in Luhansk direction during the past 24 hour period.

"Since midnight yesterday, the illegal armed gangs attacked ATO forces' positions 19 times. Most attacks were short and provocative. No casualties reported among Ukrainian fighters," the report reads.

On Aug. 29, Russian mercenaries attacked Ukrainian military 21 times.
