The relevant order was signed on Aug. 15 in Ukroboronprom.
"This personnel decision is based on successful work of Oleksandr Kryvokon as director of Kharkiv state aviation plant, also part of Ukroboronprom. Over six months on his post, Kryvokon has successfully implemented an anti-crisis strategy that allowed conducting the first steps to revive the leading Kharkiv plant and provide it with orders," the report reads.
Kryvokon had previously worked as a top manager in Makarov Pivdenny engineering plant, Malyshev plant, and other enterprises.
The new director of Antonov SE will support the chosen path of the company's development, implement the marketing plan for plane construction, accelerate Antonov's entry to the international market of drones, and enhance international cooperation of the plant.
On Aug. 15, Antonov SE president Oleksandr Kotsiuba announced his decision to resign from Antonov. He decided to return to the business sector, Ulroboronprom reported.
