 Suspect in Dnipro shooting David Pabiler released on 128,000 hryvnia bail

David Pabiler, who is suspected of involvement in shooting in Dnipro that claimed lives of two Donbas fighting veterans, has been released on 128,000 hryvnia bail.

This was confirmed by the defense in the case, Censor.NET reports citing Radio Svoboda.

On Aug. 16, the Appeals Court of the Dnipropetrovsk region will consider a claim of attorneys against the court's ruling on the restriction measure for their client. The defense of Pabiler believes the court violated the law having set the restraint measure after 72h period since indictment.

As reported, in the evening of July 24, well-known volunteer fighter and attorney to victims of May 9 clashes in Dnipro Edmond Saakian was wounded by unknown persons from automated weapon. ATO veteran Oleksii Vahner, who served with Saakian in the 20th battalion of the 93rd brigade, was killed on spot. Another former ATO participant, Maksym Ivashchuk, received a fatal wound and died on his way to the hospital.
