The invaders used mortars three times, having fired 16 missiles. The Ukrainian troops were firing from five positions. Nine cases of enemy shelling were recorded yesterday in Luhansk direction.
"Donetsk direction. Avdiivka was the major hot spot there yesterday. The adversary started firing after 2 p.m.; the Ukrainian troops retaliated. The skirmish lasted for more than nine hours with short pauses. It should be noted that mercenaries used mortars several times and fired from different directions simultaneously. The enemy also violated the cease-fire systematically in another four positions. All of the incidents were quite lengthy in time. A total of 11 cases of enemy shelling were recorded yesterday in Donetsk direction, three of them with the use of heavy weapons.
"Mariupol direction. Yesterday morning the enemy again shelled Marinka residential neighborhood. The mercenaries used grenade launchers and mortars to fire upon locals' houses.... It was traditionally unquiet in Chermalyk-Shyrokyne area. In Vodiane and Shyrokyne, militants resorted to lengthy provocations with the use of small arms," Motuzianyk said.
