Karpaty FC halfback Yurii Tkachuk refused to be transferred to Russian Anzhi football club form Makhachkala.

Censor.NET reports citing Tribuna.com.

The footballer said that he was holding talks with the Russian football club Anzhi, but stopped the negotiations at the insistence of his mother.

"For me, football is out of politics, but not for my family. Mom said that if I sign a contract with Anzhi, I will no longer be her son and she does not want to know me, so I stayed there for only three-four days," said Tkachuk.
