Today, Aug. 9, the government returns from a three week break. The Cabinet plans to consider about a hundred issues, Censor.NET reports.

PM also promised to support accessible education in remote areas of the country, especially in the Carpathian mountains. He ordered relevant ministries to redistribute funds for that purpose.

Hroisman also announced some personnel issues to be considered:

"Today we will consider the statement of Wojciech Balczun's resignation from the post of the head of Ukrzaliznytsia. He made this decision on his own, and I would like to thank him for his work," Hroisman said. He added the decision was made over personal circumstances.

Hroisman said the company had some positive dynamics under Balczun, and will soon have an acting head appointed. A new leader will be appointed upon results of a contest.
