This was announced by head of the State Border Service of Ukraine Petro Tsyhykal, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"The number of entry denials is 0.03 percent, only 55 persons. 18 of them were denied entry because of overstay, 37 were not able to prove their purpose of travel," Tsyhykal said.
He also said that the issue of long lines at the border has been solved.
"A number of measures have been made in accordance with the relevant presidential decree. They include redirection of the [travelers] flow and allocation of separate road lanes for vehicles with foreign registration plates with the purpose of unloading the rest of the traffic lanes," Tsyhykal said.
Since June 11, 2017, citizens of Ukraine who possess biometric passports are entitled to visit 30 European countries without visas. Ukrainians are allowed to stay there during 90 days in every six months.
