Censor.NET reports citing the press office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"The heat that persisted across Ukraine during last week led to not only increased number of fires in natural ecosystems but also to more casualties in the water.
"Here's another impressive figure: 99 citizens were killed in the water from July 31 till Aug. 6. A total of 685 people have died in the water since the beginning of the year, including 70 children. 484 persons were rescued, including 106 kids," the press office said.
