Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman told Delovaia Stolitsa, Censor.NET reports.
"Today we need to overcome corruption at state enterprises, as 3,500 of them have generated 87 billion hryvnia [$3.385 billion] in damages," he said.
Hroisman believes companies that are not of strategic importance and not needed by the state should be sold through e-auctions.
He says this might result in arrival of new owners who will create jobs and implement new technologies.
