The new model of the unmanned armored vehicle has received a new wheel formula 8x8 instead of 6x6 in the previous model. This allows increasing the payload and installing more powerful weapons.

During the testing of the new weapon station and shooting of RS-80 rockets that create the Grad effect, all specified targets have been hit and the module operation completely checked in the field.

President Petro Poroshenko congratulated the military on successful testing of Ukraine-made military equipment and published fragments of the video of the test on his social media account.

The unmanned Fantom-2 is more powerful and effective, able to create the effect of Grad on the battlefield, and has already confirmed its reliability," Poroshenko wrote in a commentary to the video.
