As reported by Censor.NET, NABU and SAP (Ukraine's anti-corruption agencies) detained officials of the Lviv Armored Tanks Plant for organization of a corruption scheme with used engines. Instead of buying new engines for T-72 tanks for the army, used engines had been procured. This led to embezzlement of 28.5 million hryvnia ($1.1 million) of state funds in 2015.

On July 15 a court ruled to arrest the head of the plant Tymkiv for 60 days with a bail of 2 million hryvnia. The bail was posted on July 18 by Tymkiv's sister.
