 Fighter of 128th Brigade Zoltan Balazh killed in skirmish with Russian mercenaries at Zaitseve. PHOTOS

22-year-old fighter of the 128th Brigade Zoltan Balazh from Vynohradiv, the Zakarpattia region, was killed on Tuesday, July 18. The fighter died of numerous shrapnel wounds.

As reported by Censor.NET, Balazh's death was confirmed by the 128th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Mukachevo.net.

"The skirmish with pro-Russian militants, accompanied by powerful artillery shelling, lasted for several hours yesterday. At around 8:30 p.m. another shelling of Ukraine's Armed Forces fighters' positions was conducted, probably with the use of mortars of RPGs.

"Vynohradiv native Zoltan Balazh was on combat duty in Zaitseve area, where the skirmish took place. The fighter received numerous shrapnel wounds that were fatal," the report reads.
