As reported by Censor.NET, today's session of the Cabinet is dedicated to the Cabinet's report, presented by Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman.
The PM said the Cabinet has had some serious achievements in numerous areas. One of the key ones is deregulation. The Cabinet has abolished many norms in 2017 what were hindering business development. This makes the investment climate in Ukraine more favorable.
An electronic system for VAT refund has been created, which reduces corruption in the country.
The prime minister reported of Cabinet's successes in road repair. He said 90 percent of motorways in Ukraine have been in extremely poor condition, but the Cabinet managed to implement a successful repair policy.
"We plan to fix all roads in Ukraine by means of decentralization and other sources of financing," he said.
The PM also spoke of salaries increase, support for agrarian business, and development of air travel in Ukraine.
He said it was important to integrate regional airports into the system of air travel, and to have low-cost air carriers enter Ukrainian market. Hroisman believes they could fly to and from Hostomel airport in Kyiv larger area.
The prime minister also reported on energy sector operations in the country. He thanked his European counterparts for gas supplies and reported on the reduction of Ukraine's energy dependence on the Russian Federation.
"Extraction of own gas in Ukraine is growing, and further adoption of norms on deregulation will help develop the production," he said.
