National Police Chief in the Donetsk region Viacheslav Abroskin has been appointed first deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine. He will be replaced by Vitalii Nevhad in the Donetsk region.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov on Facebook.

"He [Abroskin - ed.] is a dignified officer who has been working for Ukraine in the hottest spots since the beginning of the war. He is a patriot to the core. Terrorists have announced him wanted for a reward. The Donetsk region, overseen by Viacheslav Vasyliovych, has one of the lowest crime rates in the state, and this is the front line area!

"[He] implemented a new innovative system of security in the front line city of Mariupol, based on the state-of-the-art global information technologies and smart surveillance cameras. It has had a phenomenal effect. It's a paradox, but Mariupol is one of the safest cities in the country!," Avakov wrote and added he is certain Abroskin will succeed on this post.
