Earlier, Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko filed a motion to the Verkhovna Rada on obtaining their consent for prosecution, detention, and arrest of Opposition Bloc MP Mykhailo Dobkin.

On July 12, the regulation committee of the Verkhovna Rada found the motion by Lutsenko grounded in the part for lifting immunity, but insufficiently motivated for detention and arrest.
