By means of the rating voting, the most supported candidate has been selected - professor of Taras Shevchenko National University Oleksandra Yanovska. She was supported by 207 votes.
Parliamentary Speaker Andrii Parubii put her name on another voting. Only 216 MPs supported the appointment of Yanovska NABU auditor, out of 226 required.
Earlier, two people with experience in prosecution from the United States and Spain have confirmed their participation in the contest for the position of member of the external control committee on the audit of the effectiveness of Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) under the parliament's quota.
