This was announced by Dnipropetrovsk governor adviser Tetiana Huba on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"On June 29, 2017 Oleksii was extremely gravely wounded by shrapnel to his head, eyes, chest, and abdomen. Military doctors of the 61st mobile hospital were fighting for the Hero's life for two days. They operated on him, stabilized him, and were preparing for evacuation.
"Oleksii was taken to Dnipro by a military helicopter. All this time his mother and sister were beside him.
"Oleksii is survived by three kids. He could have stayed at home and not sign the contract, but it was his decision to defend the country," Huba wrote.
