 Poroshenko advocates involving French investors to garbage processing in Ukraine

Petro Poroshenko has raised the issue of involving French investors in garbage processing in Ukraine.

Ukraine's president said during a joint press conference with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in Paris, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

Following the talks with Macron, Poroshenko said they discussed the agenda for Ukraine-France bilateral relationship. The parties agreed to enhance a meeting of a bilateral economic intergovernmental commission. The two presidents reached agreement regarding direction of cooperation in energy sector. Poroshenko said he raised the issue of involving French investors in garbage processing in Ukraine, the president said after the talks.

Ukraine's president also advocated more active and broad French investment in other sectors, including solar energy.

He said he would meet heads of leading French investor companies during his visit to France on Monday.

Earlier, Macron said on June 26 he counted to have a Normandy Four leaders meeting (Ukraine, Germany, France, and Russia) in late June-early July.
