This was announced by Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"No decision has been made during today's [June 21 - ed.] meeting. They voiced a one-time disposal of waste that has piled up in Lviv. Regarding systemic disposal, Vice PM [Zubko] said "a memorandum is in effect." They also offered that Lviv set up a temporary disposal area at thermal power plant #2," Sadovyi said.
"Hennadii Zubko said that sometime soon, maybe during two weeks, they will try to dispose the waste that has piled up. Possibly, they will engage other regions of Ukraine that have dump areas," the mayor said.
Earlier, Vice PM Zubko said that waste disposal will take off in Lviv on June 22.
