He told journalists after the meeting in Washington, D.C., Censor.NET reports.
"It was a full-fledged, very detailed meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. We have gained strong support from the U.S., support of both sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence of our state, and strong support in continuing reforms in the country," Poroshenko said.
Poroshenko stressed that the U.S. remains loyal and continues supporting the Minsk agreements.
As reported, Poroshenko was on an official visit to Washington, D.C., on June 19-20.
