President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and Sweden, Mr. Linas Linkevičius and Ms. Margot Wallström.

The head of state thanked the ministers for their active political stance regarding support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and independence, Censor.NET reports citing Presidential Administration.

The president also thanked for significant practical aid in countering Russian aggression and overcoming its consequences.

The parties discussed the ongoing brutal violation of the Minsk agreements by the Kremlin, which causes further complication of the security and humanitarian situation in the Donbas. The parties stated that the number of attacks upon civilian objects has increased.

The ministers congratulated Ukraine on the visa-free regime with the EU and noted significant reformist efforts of Ukraine aimed to ensure such result.

The parties agreed to consolidate international assistance for Ukraine to ensure further progress on the track of European reforms.

Special attention was paid to the issue of countering the implementation of the anti-European project "Nord Stream 2."
