The people's deputy, whose car crashed into a tram on Wednesday evening on Kyiv's Peremohy Square, says he feels fine.

MP Oleh Barna said it was his fault to crash into the tram last night, Censor.NET reports. The MP said on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel that he did not see the tram behind the car he was passing.

"I feel fine, it's OK. Taking some rest, sleeping, being treated. Thanks God, no one was hurt. It's my fault. I didn't see it [the tram - ed.] for the car I was passing covered it from me," he said.

Barna said he explained the situation to the police and was sober at the moment of the accident.

"They approached me, I signed my agreement for everything. They took some blood samples. It's OK, the law has to be for everyone, all are equal for the law," Barna said.

As reported, Barna's car got into road accident in the evening of June 14. He crashed his Skoda Superb into a tram.
