As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman during the Cabinet meeting.
"Over the entire history of independence the state had been planning for one year in advance. And then, they would plan one thing, then change it for another. Subsequently, there was no understanding where the country was heading, what the priorities were. We decided to change the approach and shift to middle term budget planning. The budget will be planned for at least three years - 2018, 2019, and 2020," the prime minister said.
Hroysman says the government will forecast sustainable economy growth. Key priorities will include jobs increase, solving infrastructure problems, and higher living standards of citizens.
The prime minister says the average salary might reach 7,000 hryvnia ($271 monthly) this year.
In mid-term, Hroisman says, the planned average level of salary should reach at least 10,000 hryvnia monthly.
The prime minister says the pension reform that has to be considered by the Verkhovna Rada in October should become the key point in this plan.
"Economic growth will depend on the quality of our reforms," Hroisman summed up.
